It’s the time of year when we are thinking of giving to others. Trees with tags on them are strategically placed around town to collect toys for children in need, what about senior citizens in need? The Hanna senior center serves meals to an average of 14 home-bound seniors daily. Many of these home-bound people have little or no family with whom they can enjoy the holiday or exchange gifts. The Hanna Senior Center would like to see that our home-bound patrons are not forgotten over the holidays, so we have a tree with tags on it, and we will be collecting things such as socks, gloves and hats, and also treats such as candy and tins of cookies, as well. To “adopt a senior”, stop by the Hanna Senior Center and pick up a tag or you can make a monetary donation.
Thank You! The Hanna Senior Center
