Halloween Carnival at the Hanna Recreation Center on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come in out of the weather and have fun. Join us for some ghoulish games, freaky fun, and frightening food!
Entry fee for the Pumpkin Patch Carnival and Haunted House is one non-perishable food item per person, including all adults, for the community food drive.
Sandie Combs is sponsoring a coloring contest. One winner will be a boy, and one winner will be a girl. Download contest page HERE or get at the Rec Center. Turn them in to the Rec Center by October 31st. Winners will be announced at 7:00 at the Carnival.
Hanna Hills Church is sponsoring the costume contest. Line up for the contest at 7 p.m.
The Pumpkin Patch and Carnival games will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Haunted House will be open from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p,m.
Char Tanner, Maggie Christie, and Ellen Freeman are sponsoring Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of the Rec Center fat 7:00 p.m. Trunk or Treat is a contest in which the entrants decorate the trunks of their cars, open them up, and have candy to hand out, so kids can trick-or-treat them in the parking lot. There will be prizes given for the Spookiest, Most Creative, and a Hanna Pride trunk. Get more details from Char at the Manly Store (in the plaza near the grocery store), phone number 325-6067.
The Manly Store will be selling Fire Floats (ginger beer floats).
The HEM Senior Class will be selling walking tacos for $5.
