The Town of Hanna is the newest member of the South Central Wyoming Emergency Medical Services Board and needs to recruit someone to represent Hanna on that board. The board meets once a month, Duties of the board member are to attend the meetings and represent the best interests of Hanna citizens.
The Planning and Zoning Board has no one on it at present, which makes five vacant seats. The Planning and Zoning Board has been established to make recommendations to the town council concerning land use, zoning, and development issues. The board member helps with the planning and development of the town through ordinances for building, construction, health and safety.
The Hanna Recreation Board has two vacant seats. According to town code, this Board is charged with “the purpose of advising the governing body of the Town of Hanna as to operation of the town parks and recreational facilities so as to promote the physical and mental well being of the community, as well as providing for the day-to-day operation of the Hanna Recreation Center, recreation programs, town parks and other recreation facilities within the Town of Hanna.” The term of a Rec Board member is three years.
