The Hanna Agricultural Resources Team will meet Tuesday the 23rd of February at the Hanna Hometown Market at 5:30 p.m. Abby Perry from the County Extension Services will be conducting a soils workshop. Bring samples from your yard and learn to analyze them. (If you have a folding table that can get a little dirty, bring that as well.)
At this time, HART is focusing on improving home gardening, establishing a community garden, learning about and promoting beekeeping, advocating for change in town codes to allow goats and small livestock, expanding the chicken ordinances, and encouraging a farmers’ market. What potentials do you see in the outdoor life of Hanna? Come to the meeting and discuss your ideas.
HART members seek to educate themselves about available resources and to support the community through school, 4H, and FFA for the betterment and beauty of the community. Join in with HART for the experience and the fun and the learning.
