New Minor League Baseball Program

The Hanna Recreation Center is happy to announce a new minor league baseball program. The Knothole Club is the official kids’ club of the Salt Lake Bees. We will be starting soon for children in K-6th grades. Registrations need to be in by May 15, 2017 for your child to play. No late registrations will be accepted, as we have to order jerseys and we need the fees and sizes first before we order. Any applications without payment will not be processed.

The cost for this year will be $23, which includes a moisture-wicking jersey and an MLB hat. The program has the same jersey supplier as Junior Jazz. This means the jersey sizes are again correct, so if your child likes them bigger, you need to order bigger.

Please bring the application and check (made out to the Town of Hanna) to the Hanna Recreation Center or mail them to PO Box 99, Hanna, WY 82327.

We are hoping to start practices the last two weeks of May, so that we can have June for games and practices. We are extending the invite to Encampment and Saratoga, so we will have some out-of-town games, and we will host games here in Hanna.

As always we will need volunteers to assist with this program in all communities. Please indicate at what level you will be able to commit to assisting with this program.

Thank you, Vivian Gonzales, Acting Parks and Recreation Director
