New Years Record ‘Bash’ in Rawlins

MUSEUM FOUNDATION HOSTS NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY
‘Record Bash’ fundraiser for the renovation of the Hugus-Ferguson Building

Join Carbon County Museum Foundation in a hustle down memory lane with the inaugural New Year’s Record Bash fundraiser! Bring your favorite LP’s and your sassiest dancing shoes to the Depot at 400 Front Street in downtown Rawlins for an adult-only New Year’s Eve dance party from 8 pm to 12:30 a.m. on December 31. A cash bar, hot and cold finger foods, party favors, a novelty “selfie” booth, a countdown to 2016, and a funky, fun time unlike any other in Carbon County are included with admission. Ticket sales and a portion of cash bar proceeds will be used for the restoration of the Hugus-Ferguson Building located in Downtown Rawlins.

Ring in 2016 to the old tunes of your choosing! With DJ Dave spinning up your records and requests, partygoers will have the option to change up the dance mix by donating in support of your future Carbon County Museum & Research Center. Don’t want to hear the rest of Dancing Queen? Donate to get it banned for the night! Want to dance Cheek to Cheek for the entire B-side of your special album from way back when? Donate and we’ll play it for you in full! Want your request up next? That’s an option too. Bring any type of LP you own and share it with fellow party goers: from Glen Miller to the Rolling Stones!

Ticket Info: Advance tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased at Carbon County Museum located at 904 West Walnut Street in Rawlins or, Carbon County Higher Education Center located at812 East Murray Street, or by calling the museum at 307-328-2740. Tickets at the door the night of the event are $25. All ticket holders must be over 21 years of age, no exceptions. Designated Drivers in attendance will receive free non-alcoholic beverages throughout the event.
