David M. Gregory passed away September 26, 2014, at his residence in Hanna. He was 65 years old.
David was born the last of five children to parents Orin and Virginia Gregory in Laramie on August 11, 1949. When David was 12, his father passed away, and a few years later his mother married George Carlson.
David did everything possible to remain in Hanna and therefore worked many different jobs including working in the uranium and coal mines, the construction of I-80, and owning the 7-11 store, Brass Monkey Refrigeration, and BME storage before retiring.
David was proud of being a lifelong Hanna resident. He enjoyed the Wyoming outdoors, traveling in his motor home, and most of all his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, and his brother, Bob.
Surviving David are his wife Barbara; son Phillip (Heather); grandchildren, Kolten, Ashlyn, Grace, Madelyn, and Konner; brothers Rick (Pat) and Ron (Gloria), and sister, Linda (John) Fenimore.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the HEM Junior-Senior High School gym. A reception will follow in the multi-purpose room.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in David’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
