A potluck-style memorial will be held for Amy “Teddi” Heck on April 24th at 1:30 p.m. at the Hanna LDS Church. Everyone is welcome to bring a dish and celebrate Teddi’s life.
Amy “Teddi” Luana Heck, passed away at the age of 73. She died March 4th 2016, due to a heart attack. Cremation has been completed. Interment, next to her husband Jack, at the Oregon Trail State Veterans’ Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Teddi was born January 19, 1943 to Robert and Virginia Cox in Oregon City, Oregon. She spent most of her life moving around the state of Oregon, until her final move to Wyoming in 1998. She graduated high school in Oregon City, Oregon in 1961. In 1966, Teddi graduated Bassist School for Fashion Modeling.
She loved to travel, redecorate, and create jewelry. Teddi never met a stranger and loved to talk with everyone she met and was known to spend 45 minutes talking to a wrong number. She also was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Teddi is survived by her brother Robert Cox of Prineville, OR; her sons, Nicholas Heck and his wife of Astoria, OR, and Jason Heck and his wife of Hanna, WY; adopted daughter Rene Fulin-Carlin and her husband of Milwaukie, OR; nephew Robert Cox and his wife of Prineville, OR; as well as many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack.
