Senior Recognition Football

Six seniors were recognized before kickoff of the Kaycee vs. H.E.M. football game on Friday, October 24, 2014, Christian Gonzales, Celsey Meyer, Michael Lawson, Ty Pembleton, Trevor Rice, and Dakota Trump. Unfortunately, it was not a winning afternoon for the seniors’ last home game. Although the Miners mounted a formidable rally in the second half, the game ended 55-36 Kaycee. The loss placed the H.E.M. Miners in third place in the Six-Man East Football division, with Guernsey-Sunrise #1 seed and Kaycee #2. The Miners will play the #2 seed in the West Conference, Little Snake River, in Baggs next week.

As of October 28th, senior Trevor Rice led the Miners in rushing (145.0), passing (70.8), all-purpose offence (242.0), and scoring (66 points). Senior Celsey Meyer was the top receiver (228 total yards), and sophomore Jarrett Neimark led in individual defense (11.5 PT/GM), closely followed by Brandon Scott (11 PT/GM).
